Our friendly team of podiatrists are looking forward to meeting you. Here is a little information about us...

Michelle Reynolds BSc (Hons), PGCert, MSc, MRCPod, is the lead podiatrist at the practice. She qualified from Salford University in 1998 with a BSc (Hons) First Class in Podiatry. Michelle is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Royal College of Podiatry. Michelle has a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Practice, and a Masters degree with Distinction in Clinical Skin Integrity (Dermatology).

Michelle began her career in the NHS, later moving into private practice in Australia. In 2011 Michelle returned to the UK where she has since been in private practice in the Stockport area.

Michelle is committed to providing high quality care within a professional and friendly environment.

Michelle has a special interest in dermatological conditions affecting the foot, in particular the management of verrucas (plantar warts) and fungal infections.

Lisa Stalton BSc (Hons), MRCPod, is a member of the Royal College of Podiatry and registered with the HCPC. Graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry from the University of Salford in 2010, Lisa brings to the practice a wealth of experience in the private sector.

 

Enjoying all the various aspect of podiatry, Lisa has a keen interest in dermatological conditions, but particularly enjoys helping patients manage, and resolve, the dreaded ingrowing toenails! Lisa keeps up to date with changes in the industry by regularly attending courses and conferences.

 

Lisa will be available at the practice on Mondays, Wednesdays and alternate Saturdays.

Julie Froggatt-Bailey BSc (Hons), MSc, MRCPod, is a member of the Royal College of Podiatry and registered with the HCPC. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) 1st class in Podiatry from the University of Salford in 1997. 

Julie has extensive experience working within both the NHS and her own private practice in Davenport, Stockport. Julie spent 13 years working as an extended scope practitioner in Orthopaedics.  

Julie has a special interest in Musculo-skeletal Medicine and provides a holistic approach to helping patients symptoms associated with the musculo-skeletal system, by biomechanically assessing your gait and limbs.

Julie's additional qualifications include:

  • MSc Sports Injury & Therapy

  • MSc Module Trauma & Orthopaedic: Lower Limb

  • MSc Module Extended Proficiences

  • Certificate in Steroid Injection

  • Certificate in Ankle Mobilisation

  • Level 1 Fascial Manipulation

Julie will be available at the clinic on a regular basis, to help with musculoskeletal issues and sports injuries by providing biomechanical assessments and gait analysis. Treatments may include: laser therapy, steroid injections, stretching and strengthening exercises, provision of orthoses, footwear advice, strapping, & joint mobilisations.
