About Us

Michelle Reynolds MSc, MRCPod, is the lead podiatrist at the practice. She graduated from the University of Salford in 1998 with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Podiatry and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Michelle is also a member of the Royal College of Podiatry and is a member of the Royal College of Podiatry Special Advisory Group for Dermatology in Podiatry..
Alongside her podiatry degree, Michelle holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Practice and an MSc with Distinction in Clinical Skin Integrity. She has developed a particular clinical and academic interest in skin and nail(dermatological) conditions affecting the foot and lower limb, combining over 25 years of clinical experience with postgraduate study and research in this field.
Michelle began her career within the NHS before moving to private practice in Australia. Following her return to the UK in 2011, she has continued to practise in the Stockport area, providing podiatric care with a strong focus on the assessment and management of skin and nail conditions. She regularly sees patients with persistent or recurrent problems, including verrucae (plantar warts), fungal infections and other dermatological conditions affecting the feet.
Michelle is currently undertaking doctoral research at Health Sciences University, where her research focuses on dermoscopy and the recognition of skin lesions within podiatric practice. Her ongoing research helps ensure that her clinical practice remains informed by current evidence and developments in the field.
Michelle is usually available in clinic on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and alternate Saturdays, although her clinic hours may occasionally be reduced to accommodate research commitments.
